An investigation by Verity News has obtained multiple disturbing videos and pictures of a 19-year-boy, who has been confirmed dead, as a result of alleged sodomy.
The Liberia National Police (LNP) is now investigating a Nigerian Pastor Abiodun O. J Babalola of the Living Hope Ministry on Congo Town Back Road, who has been accused of sodomizing the 19-year-old boy to death. The victim, whose identity is being protected, had reportedly been living under the pastor’s care for two years prior to the tragedy.
According to family sources who spoke to Verity, the victim moved in with Pastor Abby following his high school graduation. “He moved in with Pastor Abby at age 17 and he’s now 19.”
The arrangement was built on a foundation of trust, as the pastor was a close friend of the victim’s father. However, the victim’s family claims that communication was strictly controlled during those two years.
“The child has been living with this pastor for two years and he has never called the mother one day to tell me that this boy is sick,” a distraught relative stated.
The situation occurred last week Tuesday when Pastor Babalola reportedly contacted the victim’s mother for the first time regarding the boy’s health, claiming he was complaining of a “headache.” He instructed her to meet them at ELWA Hospital.
Wednesday, 2:00 PM Upon arrival, the mother found her son on oxygen; he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Following the death, the pastor allegedly pressured the family for an immediate burial. Suspecting foul play, the mother refused and insisted on examining the body. It was then discovered that the victim had suffered severe rectal trauma.
The case is currently being handled at the National Headquarters of the Liberia National Police. While the pastor’s legal counsel has reportedly signed for his release or representation, the evidence mounting against him is significant.
Meanwhile Evidence in our possession, including Medical Report, Confirms the victim was sodomized prior to his death.
Pictorial evidence, including documentation of physical trauma currently in possession of this paper regarding Status of Medical reports, are expected to be formally submitted to the LNP this Wednesday.
