Odecious Mulbah Elected New SUP Chairman as Party Announces Fresh Leadership

Monrovia, Liberia – The Students Unification Party (SUP) of the University of Liberia has announced a new corps of leaders, with Odecious Mulbah emerging as Chairman of the historic student movement.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, following internal party processes and was officially approved by the party’s immediately past Chairman, Sylvester S. Kalou Wheeler.

Mulbah now takes the helm of the influential campus-based political movement at a time when student advocacy and activism remain central to national discourse.

Alongside the new Chairman, the party unveiled other key officials who will serve in various leadership capacities. Alvin M. Koffa has been named Co-Chair for Party Affairs, while Peter Kollie will serve as Co-Chair for Government Affairs.

Dave Haward assumes the role of Secretary General, with Polay Nyan Emmanuel appointed as Assistant Secretary General. Stephen S. Brown will serve as Financial Secretary, and Bendu M.Q. Kamara has been entrusted with the position of Treasurer. Thomas Theophilus Hallie has been named Standard Bearer, among other officials announced as part of the new leadership structure.

The transition marks a new chapter for SUP, one of the most prominent and longstanding student political organizations at the University of Liberia.

The party has historically played a significant role in student representation, governance debates, and broader socio-political advocacy within the country.

Now, the new leadership is expected to continue the party’s tradition of student engagement while addressing contemporary challenges facing the university community.
