Overview of Icon16 Architecture
Offering insight into the building’s design, CAPE Realities Liberia CEO Mr. Nader Ayoub described Icon16 as more than just a structure, calling it “a statement of progress, vision, and purpose.”
“From day one, our objective was clear: to develop a modern, efficient, and iconic building that would serve as a commercial landmark in Liberia,” Ayoub said.
“We envisioned a space that wasn’t just functional but inspirational — one that sets a new benchmark for infrastructure quality, sustainability, and business standards.”
Clad in seamless glass and defined by sharp, modern lines, Icon16 was the result of careful planning, local engagement, and world-class execution.
Ayoub stressed that every design decision, from structural integrity to energy efficiency, aimed for excellence and impact.
“But the true power of a building is not in its walls- it’s in who it serves,” he said. “We are proud to welcome Orange Liberia as our anchor tenant. Their presence transforms this space into a digital powerhouse.”
A Broader Impact
Ayoub highlighted the wide-ranging benefits of the project:
Employment: The project engaged hundreds of Liberian construction workers, engineers, and contractors.
Urban Development: Icon16 accelerates Monrovia’s transformation into a modern capital, setting a precedent for private investment in infrastructure.
Inspiration: It demonstrates that world-class projects can and should be built in Liberia- by Liberians, for Liberians, and with global standards.
“This building should be a blueprint- not just in design, but in its connection to national development,” Ayoub concluded, adding that it a milestone for his company, for Orange Liberia, and most importantly, for the future of Liberia.”
The Iconic building is estimated at nearly $10 million United States Dollars.
