River Gee County – Alexander Tayquioh Sampson, a trained Laboratory Technician, native Jarpai Town in the Tuobo Administrative district of River Gee County, has called on parents and guardians to prioritize investing in their children’s education.
Speaking as a Guest Speaker during the Nyantienbo Public School’s 2025 closing ceremony, over the weekend in Wissitoken, River Gee County, Sampson stressed the importance of increased parental involvement in education, emphasizing their vital role in their children’s academic success.
The Nyantienbo Public School, which serves students from Kindergarten to 6th grade, had an enrollment of over 350 pupils last year, as noted by Principal, Ahmied Kiyeah.
The Laboratory Technician has also called for the collaboration of educators and families in creating a rich learning environment.
“Education is a partnership,” he remarked. “As this academic year wraps up today, we urge you parents to actively engage in your children’s educational journey next academic as your involvement is crucial for their success.” He said.
“Continuing the learning process at home is essential”, urging families to make education a priority during the holiday season.
In conclusion, the Laboratory Technician has committed to sponsoring a minimum of ten students in the upcoming academic year who have excelled in their classes.
Principal Ahmied Kiyeah, has echoed, stressing the importance of education for young students, especially those under 18 who are at a critical stage of learning. He warned that as children move past this age, their attitudes toward education may begin to change.
As the school year comes to a close, Principal Kiyeah expressed heartfelt appreciation to parents, guardians, and the community for their steadfast support throughout the year.
For their part, Parents Teachers Association (PTA) represented by advisor Emmanuel Bolle, commended the school’s leadership for their unwavering dedication to the education of Nyantienbo’s students.
The academic year was marked by notable achievements in both academic and extracurricular activities, reflecting the hard work of both staff and students.
Looking ahead, preparations for the next academic year are already in progress, with plans to implement new initiatives aimed at enhancing student learning and participation.
