Margibi County, Liberia, January 22, 2025 – In a significant crackdown on drug-related activities, police in Margibi County have arrested a couple, Amaddu Fodana and Aren Johnson, both aged 36, in the Lango Town Community, Kakata.
The couple was apprehended with a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics, including 76 pieces of “Italian White” and a dispenser plastic containing Kush.
Authorities have intensified their efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region, leading to this latest arrest.
Despite the evidence against them, Fodana and Johnson have repeatedly denied any involvement in the illegal drug trade, claiming their innocence in the face of serious allegations.=
The couple is set to appear before the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata, where they will face the legal consequences of their alleged actions.
The police continue to urge the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities as they work to ensure the safety and well-being of residents in Margibi County.
