Renowned Liberian Afrobeats star Jonathan Lee Pratt, popularly known by his stage name JZyNO, has made headlines off the stage by investing in agriculture ~ specifically, poultry farming. The artist recently announced the launch of his poultry business, Eggland, which is based in Bomi County.
JZyNO, known for chart-topping hits and energetic performances, revealed that the poultry venture is part of a broader effort to sustain his music career and contribute to national food security.
“This is one of our little investments that helps in putting money on the table for music promotion and other things,” he said. “We are growing gradually but will need your support in order to get bigger.”
Eggland specializes in producing healthy, organic eggs and aims to supply both local and regional markets. The farm emphasizes efficient feed-to-egg and feed-to-meat conversion, making it a sustainable and impactful addition to Liberia’s agricultural sector.
“Our poultry efficiently convert feed into meat and eggs, contributing significantly to food security for the Liberian market. At Eggland, we are fully in business and ready to distribute our healthy and organic eggs to consumers far or near,” he added.
As a homegrown celebrity turning to agribusiness, JZyNO’s move has been widely applauded by fans and development advocates alike, who see it as a positive example of diversification and economic empowerment in Liberia.
