Just about five (5) days after a major cabinet meeting on March 5, 2026, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai is poised to call for and preside over an emergency gathering of cabinet ministers and other senior government officials.
According to an inside Executive Mansion source, who prefers anonymity, President Boakai has called for said emergency gathering to discuss pressing national issues pertinent to key development priorities, including ongoing projects.
“This emergency cabinet meeting is intended to review development projects and streamline government priorities based on available resources across various sectors. The previous meeting was to assess what various ministries have specifically achieved in terms of progress and challenges,’ the source told Verity News.
