Yokohama, Japan – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has been honored with the Presidential Excellence Award in recognition of his continuous contributions to uplifting Liberia. The award was presented by members of the Hollywood Star Hall of Fame, in collaboration with Liberia’s Special Envoy, Ambassador Juli Endee.
During the presentation ceremony, the Hollywood Star Hall of Fame delegation praised President Boakai’s long-standing leadership and commitment to national transformation, noting that his vision continues to inspire Liberians at home and abroad, as well as international partners.
President Boakai expressed deep gratitude for the recognition bestowed upon him and highlighted his steadfast resolve to advance Liberia’s steady progress.
He commended Ambassador Endee for her leadership in mobilizing international goodwill for Liberia and emphasized that the upcoming Osaka Expo 2025 presents an opportunity to showcase Liberia’s unique culture, investment potential, and renewed development vision.
Ambassador Endee, who has been officially designated as Liberia’s Special Envoy to the Osaka Expo 2025 received the President’s blessings as she prepares to raise Liberia’s flag at the international exposition.
President Boakai lauded her dedication to promoting Liberia’s culture, heritage, and identity on the global stage, underscoring the importance of cultural and economic diplomacy as a vital complement to Liberia’s development agenda.
The delegation to the Osaka Expo will be led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Sara Beysolow Nyanti, with support from the Minister of State for Special Services, Honorable Samuel Stevequoah.
President Boakai noted that this recognition not only celebrates Liberia’s progress but also reflects the country’s growing engagement with global partners and the pivotal role of culture in advancing the nation’s image and influence on the world stage.
