President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has returned home following the completion of successful official visits to the French Republic and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Liberian leader’s visits were aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation, attracting investment, and enhancing Liberia’s engagement with international partners in key sectors including infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and education.
While in France, President Boakai held high-level discussions with senior French government officials and development partners, focusing on areas of mutual interest and support for Liberia’s development agenda.
In the United Arab Emirates, the President met with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to explore opportunities for partnership in renewable energy, trade, and tourism, as well as investment in Liberia’s emerging private sector.
President Boakai was accompanied by a high-powered delegation, including key members of his cabinet, who engaged in a series of side meetings to promote Liberia’s investment climate and strengthen diplomatic ties.
The President’s return marks the conclusion of a diplomatic tour described by the Executive Mansion as “productive and impactful,” setting the stage for new partnerships and economic opportunities for Liberia.
He was warmly received at the Roberts International Airport by senior government officials, members of the Armed Forces of Liberia, and other dignitaries.
