The President’s Young Professionals Program (PYPP), Liberia’s Next Generation of Public Leader has officially welcomed its 13th cohort ~ 40 dynamic and talented young Liberians ~ into its flagship public service fellowship.
These exceptional individuals were selected through a highly competitive, merit-based process to serve across key government ministries, agencies, and, for the first time in the program’s history, at the local government level in Bong and Grand Bassa Counties. Twelve members of this new cohort will bring their skills and fresh ideas directly to local administrations, marking a significant expansion of PYPP’s impact beyond Monrovia.
The program is designed to strengthen Liberia’s civil service by equipping the country’s brightest young minds with leadership training, mentorship, and real-world experience in governance. With over 245 alumni to date, the program continues to play a vital role in cultivating a new generation of public servants committed to transparency, innovation, and nation-building.
As they begin their journey, Cohort XIII fellows are poised to contribute meaningfully to the development of Liberia ~ bringing renewed energy, fresh perspectives, and a deep commitment to public service at both central and local levels.
The nation is invited to celebrate and support these future leaders as they embark on a transformative path of service, leadership, and impact.
