The people of Pleebo Sodoken District in Maryland County are expected to benefit from a new general market as Representative Anthony Williams breaks ground to begin construction work.
Thousands of marketers continue to face unbearable constraints because of where they currently sell, a makeshift structure with a leaking roof.
According to Representative Williams, the project is aimed to accommodate thousands of marketers, especially women, who have no option but to endure the harsh suffering of selling in such a makeshift during the rainy season.
During the program, the Honorable reechoed his commitment to earmark and embark on genuine development projects that will improve the lives of the people of Pleebo.
In the presence of his constituents, he averred that Pleebo is on a progressive path to development, and there’s no turning back.
For their part, the marketers commended Honorable Williams for his thoughtfulness and philanthropic gesture in breaking ground for the construction the Pleebo General Market.
It can also be recalled that Representative Williams donated a fully-equipped ambulance to the Pleebo Health Center some weeks ago. His gesture to the medical facility was intended to relieve patients with critical conditions in need of ambulance service.
Local officials, including healthcare professionals and community dwellers, expressed earnest gratitude to Representative Williams for his timely and impactful intervention.
Making remarks at the program, the Representative underscored the urgency to ensure an efficient and effective health system, while at the same time reassuring his constituents of his desire to advance their general well-being.
Representative Williams however stressed the important role of the ambulance in ensuring timely access to medical care and health facilities, while at the same time pledging his continued support to initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the district.
