Montserrado County District #6 Representative Samuel Enders was involved in a car collision early Sunday morning along the ELWA-RIA route, near the Forday Town community in Margibi County.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 6:00 a.m. when the lawmaker’s speeding vehicle crashed into a parked car believed to belong to a local market vendor. The vehicle, described as a “pickup-like” market car, was reportedly pulled off to the side of the road with a sign indicating it had broken down.
Despite the warning sign, the lawmaker’s car allegedly sped into the parked vehicle, resulting in significant damage to the both cars. There were no reported injuries, but the situation quickly escalated when passengers from the damaged vehicle confronted Representative Enders over what they described as reckless driving and over-speeding
A video obtained by this publication shows a visibly upset woman accusing the lawmaker of nearly killing them with his speeding vehicle as the Representative confronted her back.
Representative Enders, who was reportedly en route to the Roberts International Airport, was later seen arranging alternative transportation following the crash.
