Rivercess County Prioritizes Roads and Sports in 2025 Proposed Budget

Cestos City, Rivercess County — Authorities in Rivercess County have unveiled their proposed budget for the 2025 fiscal year, highlighting road maintenance and sports development as the administration’s top priorities.

The proposed budget, presented by County Development Officer Madam Estalla A. Logan to the Rivercess County Council, details key allocations aimed at strengthening local infrastructure and expanding opportunities for youth engagement through sports.

According to the budget document, US$143,000 has been earmarked for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the 43-kilometer road stretch from Yarpah Town to One House. The project, once implemented, is expected to significantly improve transportation, accessibility, and economic activities within the county.

In addition, US$25,000 has been proposed to support sports development initiatives, including organizing tournaments, enhancing youth participation, and nurturing emerging athletic talent across Rivercess. Another US$18,000 has been allocated for operational expenses, bringing the total proposed 2025 County Development Budget to US$186,000.

The Rivercess County Council has since received and accepted the proposed budget and is currently reviewing it for approval and final endorsement in the coming days.

If approved, officials say the 2025 budget will bolster the county’s broader development agenda—prioritizing better road infrastructure and promoting youth empowerment through active participation in sports.
