Senator Saah Joseph’s Resignation a Major Blow to CDC – Chairperson Kowo Admits

‎Monrovia, Liberia – The National Chairperson of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Janga Augusta Kowo, has described the recent resignation of Senator Saah Joseph as a significant loss to the party, calling it a “major blow.”

‎Speaking, Chairman Kowo emphasized the impact of Senator Joseph’s departure, dismissing claims that it holds little weight.

“Nobody should tell you that Saah Joseph’s departure does not mean anything to the CDC,” Kowo said. “Losing Saah Joseph is a major blow to the CDC. It’s a major issue, and I hope Saah Joseph will come to his senses and come back home.”

‎Senator Joseph, a long-time stalwart of the former ruling party, recently resigned from the CDC ~ a decision that has stirred internal criticism and disappointment among party executives and supporters.

‎Since the resignation, there has been growing silence around Senator Joseph’s role in the party, with some figures seeking to downplay his contributions. Former Montserrado District #8 Representative Moses A. Gray remarked, “He came to the party with nothing and is leaving the party with nothing.”

‎Despite the sharp criticism from some quarters, Kowo expressed optimism that the senator might reconsider his decision.

‎Now, the question is, with the Montserrado still come back to the party in the midst of the mounting criticisms?
