Shifting Political Loyalty: CDC Senatorial Candidate Moses Kollie Recommits to Supporting Pres. Boakai and UP-Led Gov’t

Barely a day after a longtime stalwart of the Opposition Congress for Democratic Changes (CDC), Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah, publicly declared his 100% support for the Unity Party-led Government, another big hand, the 2023 Senatorial Candidate of the CDC in Lofa County, Chief Moses Yarkpazuo Kollie, has also publicly recommitted his full support to Pres. Boakai and UP-led Government.

In what some political pundits have termed as an outright defection and a shift in allegiance, Chief Kollie wrote on his official Facebook page, “It may sound tribal, but the fact is, we cannot continue to be divided. For Lofa to move forward, we have recommitted our support to H.E. Joseph N. Boakai’s administration with a desire to see him succeed. Irrespective of our differences, a United Lofa and a United Liberia is the only way forward.
