Monrovia — The Vanguard Student Unification Party (SUP) has sounded a strong caveat to the government of Liberia, warning House Speaker Richard Nagbe Koon to, with immediate effect, discontinue the current renovation of the Capitol Building and focus on renovating the University of Liberia (UL).
The student-based political party sees this venture as a total disregard for education in Liberia, and has threatened to engulf the grounds of the Capitol Building with mass protestation should the renovation of the building continue.
In a statement, SUP’s leadership informed Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman to amalgamate his officers in defense of the government, threatening not to leave the street until their plights are addressed.
This is a developing story.
