The President of the United States Donald Trump confirmed on social media that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in US-Israeli strikes. The Iranian regime later confirmed but has since vowed to revenge as thousands come out to mourn. The strikes also killed over 100 girls at an elementary school.

Who is interim Ayatollah Arafi?
Born in 1959 in Meybod, Iran, interim Supreme Leader Arafi is a prominent Iranian cleric and political figure who studied Mathematics and Philosophy.
Arafi is widely considered a ‘modern hardliner’ who has been serving as a member of The Guardian Council since 2019, The Assembly of Experts since 2022, and The Leadership Council of Iran. He served as President of Al-Mustafa International University from 2008 to 2018.
