You got fake people sending condolences. Your husband made them, they never show you any ounce of courtesy neither did they ever try to give a penny of your husband’s legal benefits so that you would live a happy life.
You stood the test of time, living a life filled with tears, regrets and somewhat trauma following the murdered of your late husband and former Prezo SKD along with several loyalist and countrymen.
He (SKD) with you support, made lot of people, by that I mean ,your family brought lots of socalled now stakeholders in Liberia to the limelight including former Pres.George Weah,etc
Although you did not acquired academic accolades neither did you walk around brandishing credentials, but you will forever be remembered for been an honest, modest, calm and people centered character.
As First Lady, you established a national market women’s association, and you initiated the Nancy B.Doe Market in Jorkpeh Town project in Sinkor Monrovia.In 1983, during a visit here in the United States, you helped to established opportunities for Liberian students at Chicago State University.
After your husband’s execution in 1990 during the Civil war, you went into exile with you children. You stood as a strong mother inspite of the traumatic burdened left behind by the lost of your darling husband.You returned to Liberia in 2005 hoping to reconnect with love ones and contribute to healing process of a country badly affected by the scarces of the Civil upheaval that toppled your husband’s regime.
In 2016 following years of reach out efforts, you filed a lawsuit against the Liberian government with the ECOWAS Court. Claiming denial of access to your deceased husband’s bank accounts. In 2019, the ECOWAS court ruled in your favor ,ordering the government of Liberia under the then leadership of Mr.George Manneh Oppong Weah ( a man who your late husband did everything literally possible to promote and make happy) to pay you a sum of USD $18 Million. As of 2020 , while he was still in power up until he left in 2024 January, you did not receive the payment.
We will not forget those who benefited from your advocacy, affection and modesty but paid your family back with disrespect ,ungratefulness and calloustry.
