NASSCORP Unveils Cutting-Edge Fluoroscopy and Holding Room at Jahmale Medical Solutions Center

The National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP), through its medical arm, Jahmale Medical Solutions Center, has officially launched a state-of-the-art Fluoroscopy unit and a newly designed Holding Room.

The unveiling marks another milestone in the institution’s mission to provide world-class diagnostic services and patient-centered care.

The launch event, held this week at the Jahmale facility, brought together dignitaries, healthcare professionals, and NASSCORP executives to celebrate what has been described as a “transformational addition” to the country’s healthcare infrastructure.

Revolutionizing Diagnostic Imaging

The new Fluoroscopy unit enables real-time moving X-ray imaging-an essential tool in diagnosing complex conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, musculoskeletal system, and vascular structures.

This advanced imaging capability allows physicians to see detailed, dynamic images of internal body systems, significantly improving the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis and treatment planning.

Enhancing the Patient Experience

Alongside the imaging upgrade is the introduction of a purpose-built Holding Room.

Designed with patient comfort and privacy in mind, the space provides a tranquil environment for patients to prepare before and recover after diagnostic procedures.

A Symbol of Progress

Photos from the launch event show moments of celebration and solidarity, with key stakeholders expressing pride in what the development represents-not just for Jahmale Medical Solutions Center, but for Liberia’s health sector as a whole.

NASSCORP reaffirmed its long-term commitment to improving access to quality healthcare through strategic investment in modern infrastructure and skilled personnel.

Community Impact

The newly launched facilities are expected to reduce the need for patients to seek diagnostic care abroad, keeping more healthcare dollars within the country while ensuring timely treatment for serious medical conditions.

As NASSCORP and Jahmale Medical Solutions Center celebrate this achievement, the message is clear: Liberia’s future in healthcare is brighter-and it’s being built right here at home.
