GANTA CITY NIMBA COUNTY- Agrieved and concerned students at the PYJ Polytechnic University in Ganta City, Nimba County, have vowed to carry out two major protests with one in the county and the other at the home of PYJ’s widow, Mrs. Johnson in Monrovia.
Speaking on behalf of the Agrieved and concerned students in a press statement, the official spokeperson of the students, Roland Yormie, explained that the protests are based on the university leadership’s refusal to reopen the school since the death of its vision bearer Prince Y. Johnson.
Roland has called on the school leadership to release their transfer documents in order to complete their BSC at other universities in the county or country.
Roland disclosed that their protests a is scheduled for November 24, 2025 in Nimba and at the home of Mrs. Amera Budee Johnson in Monrovia.
The Agrieved and concerned PYJ POLYTECHNIC University students have also vowed to disrupt every activity involving the memorial feast of the late senator Prince Y Johnson if their plights cannot addressed, informing the public that many of them have just one year to complete their BSC program at the institution.
