BONG COUNTY — A woman identified as Teta Flomo, a resident of Bong County, was reportedly struck by a vehicle on Saturday night near Ajavon Farm along the Zeanzue–Gbarnga highway. The driver allegedly fled the scene.
According to local reports, the victim was still lying in a roadside drainage as of Sunday morning, with no immediate medical or police intervention. Witnesses said she was alive but unattended, and many passersby hesitated to assist due to fear of police questioning.
Community members are calling for urgent help to locate the woman’s relatives and ensure she receives medical attention. Residents have also appealed to authorities to respond swiftly to prevent further harm.
When contacted, Bong County Police Commander ACP Fasu Sheriff confirmed the incident and said a team of investigators has been dispatched to the scene.
