Young Vision International Liberia has donated manna pack rice to persons with disabilities in Lofa County, as part of its humanitarian and faith-based outreach activities.
The donation was made on January 14, 2026, and included 65 cartons of manna pack rice, aimed at supporting persons with disabilities and elderly residents across the county.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, Mr. Robertson T. Hena explained that Young Vision International Liberia is a Christian-based organization headquartered in Monrovia.
He said the group is committed to evangelism and community support, particularly among young people and vulnerable populations.
“The core mission of our organization is to guide young people away from destructive behaviors and help them develop a personal relationship with God,” Mr. Hena said, citing biblical references from Matthew 28:18–20 and II Timothy 3:2 as guiding principles of the organization’s work.
He noted that the decision to support persons with disabilities and the elderly in Lofa County was unanimously agreed upon by the organization’s leadership and reflects its broader Christian mission of compassion and service throughout Liberia.
Mr. Hena added that Young Vision International Liberia intends to continue providing assistance to vulnerable groups as long as resources permit, acknowledging the ongoing needs of young people and disadvantaged communities across the country.
The donation was welcomed by beneficiaries, who described it as timely support during a period of economic hardship.
