President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has arrived in Conakry to represent Liberia at the inauguration of His Excellency Mamady Doumbouya, President-Elect of the Republic of Guinea.
Leading a high-level Liberian delegation, President Boakai’s attendance highlights the historic significance of the event and the enduring friendship between Liberia and Guinea.
Upon landing at Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport, the Liberian leader received a warm welcome from senior Guinean officials, including Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Ismaël Nabé.
Members of the Liberian community in Guinea, led by Kollie Bobo, also participated in the reception, underscoring the strong ties between Liberians living abroad and their homeland.
