Cornelia Wonkerleh Kruah, a dynamic leader known for leaving a lasting mark in every space she occupies, has shared a bold vision for empowering Liberia’s youth, emphasizing both intentionality and purpose.
Kruah’s impressive career spans influential institutions such as the Angie Brooks International Centre, the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, the African Leadership Academy, and the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law.
She emphasized the importance of being deliberate in every action she takes.
“Believe me when I say I’m intentional about everything I do, Kruah wrote.
She further stated that: “In a year or two, the piercings, tattoos, swimsuits, and booty shorts will make sense when an ARMY of young people find their balance and know that they can still choose to ‘enjoy life’ while developing themselves and making an impact.”
She urged young people to look beyond appearances and embrace their inner potential:
“The term ‘Never Judge a Book by Its Cover’ will resonate among our rebellious, strong-headed yet smart and talented young people. They will never allow their physical appearance to shrink their inner ‘blaze.”
Kruah sees her unique role as a platform to create meaningful change:
“It is in this space, which God has positioned me to fit in effortlessly, that the most IMPACT will be made. From Angie Brooks International Centre to Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, from African Leadership Academy to Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, I’ve never left a space I’ve occupied the same. THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE CORNELIA.”
Her words reflect a leadership philosophy that blends bold self-expression with purposeful action, inspiring young Liberians to embrace individuality while pursuing growth and societal impact. As she steps into her role, Cornelia W. Kruah’s message stands as a call to action for a generation ready to challenge stereotypes, balance enjoyment with development, and make their mark on Liberia’s future
