Maryland County District #3 Representative Austin Taylor has officially turned over a newly constructed market building to residents of Dorrobo in Karluway Statutory District, describing the project as the realization of a “long-held dream.”
In a statement, Taylor said the modern facility will provide farmers and traders a dignified space to sell produce, boost local economic activity, and empower market women and men. He added that the project symbolizes growth, opportunity, and progress for the community.
“This vision has now become a reality,” Taylor noted, expressing gratitude to supporters of the initiative.
However, the announcement has sparked criticism from some members of the public, who described the structure as substandard and questioned its quality. Despite the concerns, the lawmaker maintains the project marks a significant step forward for the district.
