Banjak Points Finger at Manager Over Gbarnga Branch Closure

By Matalay Kollie

GBARNGA, Bong County – Banjak Incorporated has issued a public clarification regarding the recent situation involving its Branch #17 in Gbarnga, attributing the closure to what it described as management misconduct and unauthorized business practices.

In a statement released by the company, Banjak disclosed that Iqbal Hossain, who had been entrusted with overseeing the branch, allegedly introduced products from external sources without the knowledge or approval of the company.

According to the statement, a recent inspection carried out by the government at the branch revealed that approximately 20 cartons of goods found on the premises did not originate from Banjak’s approved supply chain. While the items were confirmed not to be expired, the company noted that their packaging was damaged, raising concerns about quality and handling.

Banjak emphasized that the products in question were not part of its official inventory and did not come from its primary distribution line, Banjak Frozen Food. The company distanced itself from responsibility for the sourcing and condition of the goods discovered at the outlet.

Reaffirming its commitment to maintaining strict quality control and safety standards, Banjak stated that corrective measures are being implemented to prevent a recurrence of similar incidents. These measures include tighter internal controls to ensure that only authorized products are stocked and sold across its branches.

The company further assured customers of its continued dedication to preserving public trust and upholding the integrity of its brand amid the recent developments.
