Zwedru, Grand Gedeh — The crowning of Scrapper In Order (S.I.O) as the “Prince of Grand Gedeh” has raised serious accugment across social media.
Recently, S.I.O. was crowned as the prince of Grand Gedeh by local Authority.
While S.I.O celebrates his new title, fans and cultural critics are crying foul, claiming the honor was “stolen” from Gbema legend Eric Geso.
Critics argue that Geso’s decade long dominance and tireless promotion of Krahn culture outweigh S.I.O’s recent rise to fame.
Supporters highlight his massive trophy and years of cementing the county’s cultural identity.
Many accuse local elders of recency bias, favoring a trending artist over an established icon.
The throne is set, but the court of public opinion remains fiercely divided.
