Popular Liberian music star JZyNo, born Jonathan Lee Pratt, recently paid a courtesy visit to the political leader of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Alexander Cummings.
Following the meeting, JZyNo described the encounter as a positive and inspiring experience. He noted that it was his first time meeting Mr. Cummings, who he said was warm, welcoming, and supportive of efforts being made to advance Liberia’s entertainment industry.
“Had a great opportunity to meet Mr. Alexander Benedict Cummings Jr. for the very first time, and he was so welcoming, supportive, and impressed by the little contributions and impacts we have been making to see the Liberian Entertainment Industry evolve and grow. We won’t stop, the strive for growth, greatness and excellence continues,” JZyNo stated.
The visit comes at a time when JZyNo continues to expand his international presence as one of Liberia’s fast-rising global music figures. He recently released his latest single titled Sofaya, featuring Ghanaian female artist Wendy, further strengthening his cross-border appeal in the West African music scene.
JZyNo has been widely recognized for blending Afrobeat and contemporary African sounds, contributing to the growing visibility of Liberian music on the global stage.
