What do lawmakers take Liberians for? How much does Representative Steve Tequah’s grass-cutting machine cost and what did he tell the people of River Cess that it costs? It costs US$60

By Emmanuel M Kangar Jr.

The lawmaker is still tightlipped on the cost of the grass-cutting machine. But Verity News has already established the actual cost to inform the people of River Cess County. Access to information is a right.

Representative Steve Tequah of River Cess County District #2 is seen in this footage donating a grass-cutting machine as one of his office staffs Daniel Reeves bragged, describing it as “a project that the people of Solo Village have long craved for.”

This paper captured and inserted the image of Rep. Tequah’s purchased and donated grass-cutting machine into the Alibaba e-commerce app.

The machine is called Gasoline Garden Mower Manual Lawnmover with Wheels. As attached, it is sold for 51 euros or 60 USD is just L$10,989. This paper has attached evidence.

On a monthly basis, Representative Steve Tequah gets US$3,175 of public money just for his gasonline alone. Not for salary, not for constituency visit, not for DSA, not for office allownance, not for furniture, not for car, not legislative project, not for scratch card, not for legislative sitting fees, etc. Just for gas alone is US$3,175 per month.

The cost of the grass-cutting machine that he just donated to the people of River Cess and is parading with in Solo Village is just 1.8% of his monthly gas benefit (US$3,175). Is Liberia cursed or its leaders are just wicked, greedy, insensitive, and corrupt?

What do lawmakers take Liberians for? Are they employers of the people or employees of the people?
