Liberia’s Only and Oldest Medical School Campus Sinks in Ruins

Monrovia, Liberia – Concerns are mounting over the deteriorating condition of the A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine, Liberia’s only medical school, as parts of the campus show signs of severe structural decay and safety hazards.

Photos from the campus reveal damaged roofing, exposed ceilings, water-stained walls, and deteriorating infrastructure that pose safety and health risks to students and staff. The worsening condition has renewed calls for urgent intervention to rehabilitate the facility responsible for training the nation’s future doctors.

The A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine remains Liberia’s only and oldest accredited medical school, making its deteriorating state a major concern for the country’s healthcare and medical education systems.
