(August 6,2026, Monrovia, Liberia ) The Liberia National Police (LNP) has formally charged Augustine Lendeh, commonly known as “T-Boy,” with the crime of murder in connection with the death of Oretha Paye in the Omega Old Field Community, Paynesville.
According to the police charge sheet, the alleged incident occurred on July 29, 2026, at approximately 8:15 p.m. The victim was discovered approximately 26 feet from the accused’s residence, bearing multiple injuries and showing no signs of life.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim’s mother, Alice Flomo, informed investigators that her daughter had gone to the accused’s residence to retrieve personal clothing but never returned home.
The investigation further established that the accused had allegedly assaulted the victim on a previous occasion, a matter that formed part of the evidence reviewed by investigators.
Following investigations, Augustine Lendeh was arrested in the Republic of Sierra Leone and subsequently turned over to Liberian authorities. He has been formally charged with Murder in violation of Section 14.1 of the New Penal Law of Liberia and forwarded to court for prosecution in accordance with the law
