KAKATA, Margibi County — One person is feared dead following a head-on collision involving an NTA bus and a Nissan sedan at Du Bridge, near the Booker Washington Institute (BWI).
According to multiple eyewitnesses, the crash occurred when the driver of the Nissan sedan reportedly attempted to overtake two vehicles before colliding head-on with the NTA bus on the bridge.
The NTA vehicle was reportedly traveling from Kakata toward Monrovia, while the Nissan sedan was heading toward Gbarnga when the collision occurred.
The impact reportedly left the vehicles damaged, with one person feared dead.
Details surrounding the victim’s identity and the condition of other passengers were not immediately available.
