GBARNGA, Bong County — Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. has disclosed that former Unity Party Bong County Campaign Manager William F. Kotee Jr. is expected to be appointed Deputy Director for Finance and Administration at the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) in Suakoko District, Bong County.
Senator Moye said the process leading to Kotee’s appointment has reached its final stage, with CARI’s Board of Directors reportedly approving the appointment. He added that the Personnel Action Notice (PAN) is currently being finalized at the Civil Service Agency.
The senator made the disclosure on Saturday, August 15, 2026, during remarks at the 114th Biannual Conference of the Soul Winning Baptist Convention in Zebay, Kpaai District, Bong County.
Senator Moye commended Kotee for what he described as patience and restraint during his period outside government, particularly following his role as the Unity Party’s Bong County Campaign Manager during the 2023 General and Presidential Elections.
According to Senator Moye, Kotee played a significant role in mobilizing support for the Unity Party and contributing to the party’s electoral performance in Bong County during the 2023 elections.
The senator said Kotee’s patience and continued commitment despite remaining outside government deserved recognition.
Moye expressed optimism that Kotee’s expected appointment to CARI would provide him an opportunity to contribute to Liberia’s agricultural sector and broader national development.
If finalized, Kotee’s appointment would place him in a key administrative position at CARI, an institution responsible for agricultural research and development in Liberia.
