Monrovia, Liberia — Information Minister Jerolinmek Matthew Piah is expected to address a major press conference at 5:00 PM today concerning Liberia’s ongoing drug-related investigation.
Representatives of the Joint National Security team are also expected to attend the press conference, which is scheduled to take place at the Charles Gbenyon Conference Room at the Ministry of Information on Capitol Hill.
The briefing comes amid heightened public and political attention surrounding the government’s investigation into drug-related activities in the country.
The Ministry of Information has invited members of the media to attend and requested that journalists be seated ahead of the scheduled start time.
The minister and security officials are expected to provide updates on the investigation and address questions from the media.
