KAKATA, MARGIBI COUNTY — A longstanding partnership between Change Agent Network (CAN) Executive Director Eric Wilise Wowoh and John and Rebekah Acquah has reportedly escalated into a legal dispute over a 2.03-lot property in Margibi County.
The Acquahs, through their lawyer, Atty. Stephen BigBoy Lavalah, filed a complaint alleging that the disputed property, which they say was acquired from Wowoh, was subsequently offered or prepared for sale to other individuals.
On August 27, 2026, Margibi County Attorney Cllr. H. Deddeh Jomah Wilson issued a restraining/stop order and writ of arrest directing law enforcement officers to arrest Wowoh and others to be identified and bring them before the RIA Magisterial Court or County Attorney’s Office.
The complaint alleges criminal conveyance of land, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, criminal conspiracy, criminal facilitation, and theft of property.
The arrest order was reportedly endorsed by the Liberia National Police through Units 102 and 105 for enforcement.
Efforts to arrest Wowoh allegedly failed after he refused to leave the CAN Leadership Academy guest facility in Montserrado County.
The Acquahs’ legal team is reportedly seeking a search order to locate and arrest him.
