All 71 Candidates from World Wide Mission School Failed WAEC Exams, But Senate Pro-Temp’s Elder Sister Mary Karnga-Dahn says it won’t prevent them from Graduating
“The students met the criteria of the school, and WASSCE can’t stop my children. It is easy to penetrate but difficult to understand its secret. It is now behaving like a cartel,” Madam Mary Karnga-Dahn blasted WAEC.
The World-Wide Missions School System of Liberia in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, recorded a 100% failure rate in the recent 2026 WASSCE, with all 71 candidates failing to obtain passing marks.
However, Mission Director Mary Karnga-Dahn said that the results would not prevent the 71 students from graduating, insisting that all of them met the school’s internal requirements. She criticized WASSCE as unfair and called on the government to consider scrapping the examination, while describing WAEC as a “Cartel.”
Even though the rule is that students who failed WAEC/WASSCE cannot graduate, Mary Karnga-Dahn is insisting that failed students from the World Wide Missions School would go ahead to graduate. Is she trying to take advantage of the fact that her sister is the Senate Pro-Temp or what? Is World Wide Missions School System above the Law?
Recently, Senate Pro-Temp Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, who claimed to be motivating failed WAEC students but came under huge public backlash said, “To every student who did not pass the WASSCE: I passed 12th grade from Ricks institute. But I failed WAEC. And I didn’t participate in the graduation. I was discouraged, but I refused to let one exam define me. I did not resit WAEC. But I kept going. I went to university and also earned master’s degree. Today, I serve as the President Pro Tempore of the Liberian Senate. Your result today is not your destiny…”
