“Yellow Thursday’s Celebration”, Sup. Morris Rallies Margibians for Yellow Machine Arrival

KAKATA, Margibi County — Margibi County Superintendent, OJay G. Morris, has rallied residents of the county to gather in celebration as they await the arrival of Margibi’s share of the 285 pieces of earth-moving equipment recently acquired by the Government of Liberia.

Superintendent Morris had earlier encouraged Margibians to wear yellow as a symbol of celebration for the arrival of the yellow machines.

Speaking to Verity News, Superintendent Morris disclosed that residents and officials of Margibi County will gather at the Du Bridge, the boundary between Montserrado and Margibi counties, to await and welcome the county’s portion of the equipment.

The Government of Liberia has purchased 285 pieces of earth-moving equipment, which are expected to be deployed across the country’s 15 counties.

The equipment is expected to support road construction, rehabilitation, and other development activities in the various counties.

Margibians are now preparing to welcome their share of the equipment, with Superintendent Morris calling for a united celebration to mark what he considers an important development for the county.
