TAPPITA CITY, Nimba County — More than 150 women in Nimba County Electoral District #6 have benefited from a one-day loan training program ahead of the distribution of financial assistance initiated by District Representative Dorwohn Twain Gleekia.
The training is part of Representative Gleekia’s initiative aimed at empowering women across the district through financial support to improve their livelihoods and strengthen their businesses.
During the training, participants were educated on the purpose of the loan, responsible financial management, and effective ways to utilize the funds to sustain and expand their businesses.
The women were also encouraged to invest the funds in income-generating activities rather than using the loans for purposes unrelated to their businesses.
The lead facilitator, Blessing Lorseh, urged the beneficiaries to remain focused on their businesses and use the loans responsibly.
Lorseh emphasized the importance of making productive investments capable of generating income and supporting long-term economic growth.
The initiative is expected to provide women in the district with financial resources and practical knowledge to improve their businesses and livelihoods.
