The Lone Star of Liberia has not qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) since January 28, 2002, when they lost 1–0 to Nigeria in their final group-stage match. That means it has been nearly 25 years since Liberia last appeared at Africa’s biggest football tournament.
The team has already lost two out of six matches in AFCON 2027 Qualifier. Can Lone Star win its remaining games to secure a spot at AFCON 2027?
