Beautiful Beginnings School Launches Three-Day Breast Cancer Awareness

Beautiful Beginnings School has launched a three-day breast cancer awareness campaign in Margibi County, bringing together students and educators from several schools, including the Firestone School System.

The awareness began Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and will run through Friday, October 9, with a street parade in Harbel City to climax the activities.

Speaking during an interview, Beautiful Beginnings School Proprietress and Education Specialist, Ollie White, said the initiative seeks to provide accurate information about breast cancer while promoting the health and well-being of teachers and students.

White said Firestone School System and other schools were invited to participate in the awareness activities, which also focus on trauma, mental health, communicable diseases and other health concerns.

She explained that teachers were prioritized because they serve as caregivers and can pass health information to large numbers of students and communities.

According to White, Friday’s “Pink Day” will feature a medical expert who will discuss breast cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.

She urged the public to seek accurate medical information and appealed for greater support for teachers facing serious health challenges.
