Bility Elected Political Leader of Citizens Movement for Change

Representative Musa Hassan Bility of District #7, Nimba County, elected the Political Leader of the newly formed Citizens Movement for Change (CMC). He won unopposed in his election on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Nimba County.

Rep. Bility, who chairs the Rule of Law Legislative Caucus in the House of Representatives, was officially sworn in following his election. In his inaugural speech, he pledged to dedicate his leadership to combating corruption, a longstanding issue in Liberia.

“I will use every ounce of my strength to fight corruption,” Bility declared. He promised to usher in a new era of governance, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and national development as the core principles of his leadership.

The Citizens Movement for Change also elected other key officials. Mr. James M.V. Yogee was chosen as Chairman, while Mr. Wilfred Banguara, Chief of Staff to Rep. Bility, was elected as the party’s National Secretary General.
