Embattled Speaker J. Fonati Koffa who has been removed by Majority Bloc of the House of Representatives has reversed to status-quo, becoming an ordinary lawmaker.
The “removed” speaker is now denied immunities given him when he assumed the position.
Today, Security Services, including assigned safety personnel and patrol vehicles, were withdrawn from the “removed” Speaker J. Fonati Koffa and turned over to the newly elected Speaker Richard Koon by the majority bloc.
The speaker who has been enjoying these exceptions since taken office is now left with only what is due him as an ordinary lawmaker.
Immediately after his removal, the majority Bloc wasted no time as they took away the protection given him as speaker.
