Liberian entrepreneur and development coach Otis Togbah Tarwoe has earned a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) in Rwanda, graduating with Second-Class Upper Division honors.
Tarwoe, who hails from Jorwah in Panta District, Bong County, shared the news on social media, calling the achievement far more than an academic milestone.
“I did not just earn a degree. I earned a reminder that where you start does not determine where you finish,” he said.
His journey from a rural community in Bong County to postgraduate studies abroad, Tarwoe noted, demanded considerable sacrifice, but one he said was worth making.
He described the accomplishment as a beginning rather than an endpoint, signaling that he intends to build on his education in his work as an entrepreneur and development coach.
Tarwoe, who is also an author, is the founder and president of the Visionary School of Leadership and Development (VSOLAD).
