Leading Liberian engineer Garmondyu Boyblue Zogar has praised the Campaigners for Academic Crimes Court in Liberia (CACC) for its efforts to expose individuals allegedly holding fake academic credentials.
Zogar credited exiled Liberian activist Martin K. N. Kollie and his CACC team with contributing to a decline in the number of people claiming to hold PhD degrees.
“Since Martin K. N. Kollie and his CACC team exposed degree mills, the number of ‘Liberian PhDs’ have reduced significantly,” Zogar stated.
He added that some individuals he knew had reportedly abandoned their PhD credentials from Atlantic International University (AIU) voluntarily and quietly.
Since 2021, CACC has reportedly exposed dozens of individuals over alleged fraudulent academic qualifications as part of its campaign against academic fraud in Liberia.
