Former Gompa City Mayor Amos Suah Released from Prison

NIMBA COUNTY — Former Gompa City Mayor Amos N.G. Suah has been released from the Saniquellie Central Prison after spending six days and six nights in detention.

Suah was released on Monday, October 5, following an order issued by the Gompa City Magisterial Court.

The former mayor had been held at the Saniquellie Central Prison for nearly a week before the court ordered his release.

Further details surrounding the court’s decision and the circumstances that led to Suah’s detention are yet to be established.
