ZWEDRU, Grand Gedeh County — A Grand Gedean residing in the United States, Urias Sohn, has publicly challenged Senator Zoe Emmanuel Pennue over alleged links to unresolved deaths and the disappearance of several prominent Grand Gedeans.
In a statement circulating online, Sohn referenced Alex Pennue, Otis Jolo of Gbarzon, former lawmaker Erol Madison Gwion, former NEC logistics officer Alfred Donner, and Nancy Doe.
Sohn raised questions about the circumstances surrounding Alex Pennue’s death, identified as Senator Pennue’s brother, and also alleged that the senator’s name had been mentioned in connection with Jolo’s death.
He further claimed that former lawmaker Gwion had expressed fears for his safety and allegedly viewed Senator Pennue as a threat. Sohn also questioned Donner’s disappearance, suggesting political disagreements may have been involved.
Regarding Nancy Doe, Sohn cited allegations reportedly made by her daughter, Veronica Mamie Doe, accusing Senator Pennue of responsibility for her mother’s death.
Sohn is demanding that Senator Pennue publicly address the allegations and provide answers to the people of Grand Gedeh.
The claims remain unproven. No independent evidence establishing Senator Pennue’s responsibility for any of the deaths or disappearance has been presented, and Senator Pennue has the right to respond.
