Montserrado County District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah has expressed willingness to apologize to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai if doing so would help reconcile the country.
“If apologizing to the president will reconcile this country, I will do it. It is not impossible to apologize,” Kolubah said.
The lawmaker’s statement signals a possible shift in his position toward the president, following his previous declaration that he would rather kill his mother than apologize to Boakai.
Kolubah has recently expressed interest in meeting with the president, raising questions about the possibility of easing tensions between the two political figures.
His latest remarks suggest that he may be willing to put aside personal differences in the interest of national reconciliation.
However, further details regarding a possible meeting between Kolubah and Boakai, including its timing and purpose, remain unclear.
