The Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Mr. Mohammed Ali, is facing huge public backlash over his recent statement, which many described as condescending, impolite, and unacceptable of a public official.
After widespread complaints of no water from valuable LWSC customers and Liberians in general, Ali responded on his official Facebook page, “This is why you are not getting water. If you ain’t read it and you come ask me funny question, I will serve you well well.”
Multiple commenters immediately lashed out in reaction:
