MOH Receives ICT Equipment Support from Plan International

The Ministry of Health has received a donation of information and communication technology (ICT) equipment from Plan International aimed at strengthening operations within the country’s health sector.

The handover ceremony took place on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the Ministry of Health headquarters in Monrovia. The donation included eight laptops intended to improve operational efficiency and support the delivery of quality healthcare services across Liberia.

According to the ministry, the ICT devices will enhance coordination of virtual meetings and improve communication and reporting systems within the health sector. Officials noted that the support comes at a time when the ministry continues efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and boost public health emergency response mechanisms nationwide.

The Ministry of Health described the donation as timely and important in advancing digital communication and administrative effectiveness across various departments.

The support from Plan International forms part of ongoing partnerships aimed at improving Liberia’s healthcare system and ensuring better service delivery for citizens across the country.
