The National Election Commission (NEC) of Liberia has successfully imported 413,050 ballot papers for the upcoming Nimba County Senatorial By-Election, slated for April 22, 2025. The consignment, which arrived at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County, also includes 751 sets of the Record of the Count and 751 templates designed for visually impaired voters.
In a show of transparency and security, the ballot papers were transported to the central warehouse of the NEC under tight security, with the presence of the police and independent press. The timely arrival of the materials is a key milestone in preparations for the election, ensuring that the necessary resources are in place for a smooth and orderly voting process.
